Two-state solution
Well I do believe that the Two state solution will not really work that well, because as someone had said, Israel had already 'won'. How would the U.N really decide about who won the land, and who it really belongs to? It is hard to prove. Israeli people have been in the area around 2000 years ago, but were driven out. The Palestinians were not on the land until after the Ottoman Empire took over, and the Arab armies took over. The Palestinians deserve the land because they were the ones that were there before the British moved the Jews in, and were given no choice or opinion on that. The Jews deserve the land because they won the wars against the Palestinians, and defeated all of their foes. So, who does the land belong to? Also, I think that it is best to have a two state solution, because one state would never work out, with racism and disrespect for one another. The Jews hate the Arabs because they think the Arabs launched many terrorist attacks against them, while the ARabs hate the Jews because the Jews killed lots of ARabs during the Intifadas and lots of other times. Another reason that a one state solution would not work is that the Jews have been treating the Arabs so unfairly for such a long time, and the Arabs are considered the 'enemy' to the Jews. A two state solution might not work either, because the Jews would not want to give their land the Palestinians, because they 'rightfully' won the land, and according to the Torah, were given this land by God. The Palestinians wanted the land back, because they believe that the land belonged to them, and it was the British's fault that they lost it. They think of the land as what they once owned, reclaiming the land that they rightfully owned. So I do think that the Two state solution is the best resolution, but I am unsure of whether there will be any peace between the two sides even after the solution because of such rancorous pasts.

I agree with most of the comments on here. I think that the fact that they still continue to have so many issues and conflicts between one another shows that they are still very far away from complete peace, despite this example of slight friendliness and agreement. They have so much conflict that it will take a long time and a lot of effort to completely forget about it.

This article basically says that there are many rules as to who is allowed to go to Palestine. If you are a citizen of one of the open countries, such as the United States, Canada, or Europe. There are two ways to get to Bethlehem, but the government controls both paths, and to get across, you are required to have permission from the government. Depending on whether or not you are a supporter of the government, you may or may not be allowed in.

Personally, I think this is very stupid. Although it sort of keeps safety and extra caution in the area, it is not worth the hassle and people to have watching over the system.

I agree, people not respecting each other is really sad. I think these types of accidents can be avoided by two country meeting and negotiating about their own opinions.

This article isn’t a very viable, since it is very biased toward the Palestinian viewpoint. The entire article discusses how Israel refuses to give up land that they won in a war that was started when they were attacked. But it is right, in that the Palestinian refugees, who have done nothing wrong, should be treated better, and be given land they can settle on. While this article is extremely biased henceforth, unreliable, I do not agree with some of the points stated, but I do agree with the overall theme that the Palestinian refugees should be treated better.

I agree with you guys, I also think that its a good idea that Israeli Arabs can cross over to the West Bank. This will make people to have jobs and it will also help the West Bank's economy.

I agree with your thoughts but if they break the fence then there could be more of a chance that there will be more fighting and violence.

The Israelis are allready successfull with taking over the Palestinians land. if the Palestinians want to be more successfull then the Israelis, then the Palestinians will need to have alot of support and a more powerfull allies to help the Palestinians.

Two-state solution
I think that the two state solution might only work out for a short amount of time because the separation will give them the feeling that they really ARE enemies and that they have to fight for their own religions' right. Not only that, who at the end is going to have Jerusalem in their country? No matter in which of the both counrties it would be put, there will be terrorists bombing around because they believe that Jerusalem belongs into their country...
